Dr. Smith specializes in strategic marketing decisions using segmentation and media selection. He also researches areas of multicultural analysis and the impact of technology on business and education.

Professional Activities

Associate Professor Smith is a member of the American Marketing Association, Academy of International Business and acted most recently as the president of the Association for Business Simulation and Experiential Learning. He works regularly as a consultant to help in small business development and has written articles for the Edmond Sun, Tulsa World, Norman Transcript and Lawton Constitution. He has published academic articles in the Journal of Advertising, Journal of Advertising Research, Multinational Business Review, Simulation and Gaming as well as other various publications.
