Biography

Jessica Telfer holds a Master of Arts in Luxury and Fashion Management from Savannah College of Art and Design and received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Costume Design from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts. She has been working in the entertainment industry as a costume designer and technician since 2005 and has costumed in various capacities on both the East and West Coasts of the United States. She also worked as a costume designer for five years in Los Angeles, including at these prestigious stages: Pasadena Playhouse, Musical Theatre West, South Coast Repertory, The Antaeus Company, Sacred Fools Theater Company and East West Players.

She continues to have a presence in theatrical design both locally, with the Lyric Theatre Thelma Gaylord Academy, and in Los Angeles, where she has been nominated for LA Weekly Theater Award and the Ovation Awards for both Peace in Our Time (The Antaeus Company) and Stoneface: The Rise and Fall and Rise of Buster Keaton (Sacred Fools Theater Company). Her film design credits include Delivery: The Beast Within and A Girl, A Guy, A Space Helmet, and her TV work includes Will to Live for TV One and Riff Rockit.
