Faculty Soloists Take Center Stage

Faculty soloists take center stage 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 7, with the OCU Wind Philharmonic in Petree Recital Hall, under the baton of Dr. Matthew Mailman.

Dr. Lisa Kachouee will be soloist in James M. David's "Auto '66: Concerto for Clarinet" (2011) and Dr. Kate Pritchett will be featured on James Beckel's "The Glass Bead Game" for horn and wind ensemble (1997). Also on the program: Dimiti Shostakovich's Festive Overture, Op. 96 (1954); Anthony Innaccone's "After a Gentle Rain" (1979), featuring graduate conductors Kellie Mirda and Kaleb Benda; and Nico Muhly's "So To Speak (after Thomas Tallis)" (2004).

The concert is free and open to the public.
