OCU Earns Woodworth Grant

Oklahoma City University has received two Woodworth Estate grants for mission related trips.

OCU will be receiving a $6,000 grant to assist with an international mission trip to Belize planned for January. Another $10,000 grant will be applied toward spring break and summer mission trips next year.

“These funds will greatly assist in keeping costs low for our students who want to participate in the mission endeavors,” said the Rev. Charles Neff, vice president for University Church Relations.

A Woodworth Grant may be used to support missions-related endeavors both locally and globally. It is a permanent endowment managed by the Oklahoma United Methodist Foundation. Applications are processed through the Annual Conference Woodworth Committee.
