Arriving just in time for the holiday shopping season, Oklahoma City University invites the public to shop local during the fall edition of the OCU & Friends Market, taking place from 2-5 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 21, at the center of campus. Admission is free.

The market will feature at least 30 local makers, student entrepreneurs, alumni creators, artists, small businesses and food vendors from across the greater Oklahoma City area.

The event reflects OCU’s commitment to experiential learning, entrepreneurship and community connection. Participating student creators gain hands-on business experience through marketing, sales and customer engagement in a supportive, real-world retail environment.

“This event is more than a market,” said Ashley Palmer, event organizer and assistant director of Student Engagement. “It’s a celebration of creativity, collaboration and the entrepreneurial spirit that defines OCU. We are proud to provide a space where students and community members can connect, grow their businesses and support one another.”

Vendor applications are open through Nov. 13. The booth fee is $25 for non-OCU affiliated vendors (free for OCU affiliates), with proceeds benefitting Sisu Youth Services. No tobacco, alcohol, drugs or weapons are permitted on campus grounds.

OCU is located at 2501 N. Blackwelder. For more information, please visit okcu.edu/market or contact Palmer via email at [email protected].
