Strong Enrollment Trends Continue

Fall 2016 enrollment at Oklahoma City University is strong with gains in multiple academic areas. The university is at 106 percent of the budgeted headcount for the main campus.

The Kramer School of Nursing welcomed 166 new undergraduate students this semester and has a total enrollment of more than 500 students, which is expected to set a school record for fall net revenue. The school also began its BSN and RN-to-BSN programs at Duncan Regional Hospital last month with 27 students.

Incoming freshmen majoring in biology has doubled from last fall, climbing from 13 to 26.

The Ann Lacy School of Dance and Entertainment, Wanda L. Bass School of Music and School of Theatre all have increased total enrollment and net revenue from Fall 2015. This semester marks the second-highest enrollment for both music and theatre in OCU history.

The Meinders School of Business saw significant year-to-date increases in the number of incoming graduate students, rising from 15 to 42 in the MBA program and 9 to 23 in the MSA program.
