Oklahoma City University is committed to the recruitment and retention of National Merit Finalists, National Achievement Scholars, and National Hispanic Scholars. Most of our merit scholar students have two Oklahoma City University counselors to help make the transition from high school to college as seamless as possible. Students must complete a FAFSA to qualify.
Merit Scholar Benefits
- Oklahoma City University offers a $1,000 scholarship for students named National Merit Finalists. The scholarship is renewable for four years by maintaining a minimum 3.0 grade point average.
Requirements
- Submit a National Merit Finalist Letter from the National Merit Scholarship Corporation to the Office of Undergraduate Admissions.
- Notify the National Merit Scholarship Corporation of your plans to enroll at Oklahoma City University.
- Complete FAFSA.
Achievement Scholar Benefits
