The Ann Lacy School of American Dance and Entertainment is dedicated to preparing dancers to work as performers, teachers, choreographers and arts/entertainment managers.
- Audition required for admission.
- Students start as dance majors taking a foundation of dance technique, arts management and production, teaching dance, choreography, dance history, voice, and general education courses in the first two years.
- Students apply for their final degree program for junior and senior years based on students’ interests and faculty evaluation of their skills, knowledge, and accomplishments.
- Dance Management stresses leadership, organization, and academic success.
The dance management degree is focused on developing employable dancers and managers for the entertainment industry. Graduates can immediately enter entertainment management OR perform first before pursuing their management careers.
