PSYCHOLOGY

Psychology is a scientific field that studies behavior, social interactions, and the human mind. Psychologists not only seek to understand and explain how people think, act, and feel but they also seek to apply this information to a variety of issues that impact us (e.g. mental and physical health, daily life, performance enhancement, work productivity, self-help, motivation). The psychology minor easily compliments many different majors and is applicable for those who seek future careers in areas such as business, advertising, education, criminal justice, pre-professional programs including healthcare, and law (just to name a few). The field of psychology is broad, and our minor allows you to select courses to compliment your major, thus enhancing your marketability and supporting your future career goals.
