Oklahoma City University Law Professor Laurie Jones was among 3,000 triathletes from around the world who competed in the 8th Annual Nautica New York City Triathlon last month.
She finished 29th among women in the 50 and older age group, completing the triathlon in 3 hours and 12 minutes. Jones said the best part of the triathlon was running into a former law student at the race’s finish area in Central Park. OCU Law School alumna Carolina Rubio-Stoll, who practices immigration law in Miami, also completed the race. Jones always races in an OCU LAW cap.
