OKLAHOMA CITY— Oklahoma City University’s Meinders School of Business will begin offering a variety of web-based professional certification programs this spring.
OCU has partnered with Gatlin Education Services to offer online certification programs in seven fields including healthcare and fitness, business and professional, IT and software development, management and corporate, media and design, hospitality and skilled trades/industrial.
“Busy students can begin these programs at any time and learn at their own pace,” said Vince Orza, Ed.D., dean of OCU’s Meinders School of Business. “All courses are developed and taught by highly regarded instructors who use proven teaching methods.”
Courses offered by OCU through Gatlin and its sister company, ed2go, include emergency management training, medical transcription, veterinary assistant, grant writing, paralegal, travel agent training, web database developer, video game art, interior design, oil refinery operations and dozens of others.
The Meinders School of Business maintains a deep tradition in offering continuing professional education courses. Certification preparation courses include certified financial planner, professional in human resources, senior professional in human resources and project management professional.
