Oklahoma City University will participate in its first virtual open house Nov. 4-7.
Virtual open houses allow prospective students to get similar information via a computer as they could from visiting a college fair, said OCU Admissions Director Michelle Lockhart.
“This could help people whittle down their list of possible colleges to a key few choices,” Lockhart said.
The virtual open house is held at the CollegeWeekLive Web site (www.collegeweeklive.com).
CollegeWeekLive is the world’s largest college fair and it meets entirely online. Universities host virtual booths where college-bound high school students can browse information and have real-time text discussions with admissions counselors of participating schools.
