Degree Equips Students for High-Demand, High-Salary Jobs
OKLAHOMA CITY— The job market is rapidly changing and Oklahoma City University’s Meinders School of Business has added a new specialization to its Master of Business Administration program that puts students on the path to high-demand, high-salaried jobs.
The new MBA with a concentration in project management provides gives students and professionals in-depth knowledge and real-world experience in planning and managing projects in the modern business environment. The Meinders School of Business has partnered with the PMI-OKC Chapter of the Project Management Institute to expand on the standards and knowledge areas established by the institute, which is the leading organization for the project management profession.
“Look around at today’s successful organizations and you’ll find businesses apply effective project management techniques at all levels of their organization – in all industries,” said Meinders School of Business Dean Vince Orza. “Project management skills have long been recognized in IT, engineering, defense, construction and a variety of other areas.”
OCU’s Meinders School of Business established a special introductory tuition for the new degree. Courses for the program can be taken both on campus and online over the course of a regular semester or in an accelerated 9 weeks program. Individuals already holding an OCU MBA can also enroll in the project management courses to obtain the PM concentration.
