Oklahoma City Universityís Ad Astra Women's Chorus and the University Men's Chorus will join the 140-voice Canterbury Choral Society to present ďElijah,Ē by Felix Mendelssohn. The oratorio will be presented 8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 2, in the historic Civic Center Music Hall, with the Oklahoma City Philharmonic. Jeffrey Picon and Les Flanagan, voice faculty from OCUís Bass School of Music, will be featured soloists. Monique Weaver and Rebecca Ambrosini also will sing solo roles. Samantha Morrison, a member of the Chorale from the Canterbury Youth Choruses, will sing the part of the child.
