OKLAHOMA CITY – Princeton coxswains spun around on baseball bats, kicked soccer balls and jumped hurdles to compete for the single coxswain spot on their upcoming trip to Oklahoma for Oklahoma City University’s Head of the Oklahoma Regatta.
Princeton Volunteer Assistant Coach Mike Lombardi created the obstacle course as an objective way to determine who could travel with the team for the Head of the Oklahoma. Coxswain Raja Goel won the contest.

The Head of the Oklahoma is part of the Oklahoma Regatta Festival, which will feature corporate racing, dragon boat racing and family activities in addition to collegiate racing, from Oct. 7 to 10. The festival will kick off with the christening of the new $10 million Devon Boathouse, Home of OCU Rowing and Canoe/Kayak, during the VIP blu party at 6 p.m. Oct. 7.
