Finance, Banking & Real Estate

Today's students need a business degree that will prepare them for employment in a variety of settings and across a variety of sectors. The Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance, Banking & Real Estate program was created with guidance from some of the state's top leaders in banking, real estate and finance, with an eye on preparing students to make their mark in today's leading business sectors.

A degree in these leading business disciplines can set a professional apart among their peers. According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, for example, median pay for financial analysts is more than double the median pay for all workers. Meanwhile, bankers and real estate professionals are needed in almost all communities, so professionals with this training have the flexibility to find work in a number of locations.

Supply Chain Management

In today's integrated business world, an understanding of the complex yet interconnected movement of products and services is a key skill asset. In the Bachelor of Business Administration in Supply Chain Management degree program, you will gain a broad-based business education that prepares you for an in-demand career in supply chain management and related fields.

What does it mean to work in supply chain management? These professionals are at the heart of organizations like Amazon, FedEx and the military, and play important roles within any company that manufactures and ships products. According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, job availability for supply chain professionals like logisticians and distribution managers will grow at a rate much faster than other occupations, while median annual pay is well above the average for all workers.

Data Analytics

The need for data analytics, and practitioners who can understand and interpret the ever-increasing amounts of data today's professional organizations employ, will grow exponentially in the coming years. Students in the Bachelor of Business Administration in Data Analytics degree program will learn key concepts in data aggregation, management and interpretation as they prepare for a career on the cutting edge of the business landscape.

This degree can prepare a student for a meaningful -- and in-demand -- career as an analyst or data scientist, where professionals use analytical tools and techniques to extract meaningful insights from data. According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, the job market for data scientists is expected to grow by a whopping 35% in the coming years. Meanwhile, the median pay for data scientists is more than $100,000, with some top-earning professionals making four times the median salary of all workers.
