Your next step is applying for your F-1 student visa. This page walks you through the entire process - from your I-20 to your first day on campus.
Important: Start this process as early as possible. Visa appointments at U.S. embassies can book up months in advance, especially in summer.
Follow these steps in order. Each step builds on the one before it, do not skip ahead.

My visa was denied. What do I do?

My passport is expiring. Does my visa expire too?
Your F-1 status is 'Duration of Status' (D/S) - it does not expire with your passport. However, you will need a valid passport to travel and re-enter the U.S. Renew your passport before it expires.
My visa stamp expired but I'm still in school. Is that okay?
Yes. Your visa stamp is only used to enter the U.S. - you can remain in the U.S. on valid F-1 status even after the stamp expires. You will need a new visa stamp the next time you travel internationally.
