The Ann Lacy School of American Dance and Entertainment is dedicated to preparing dancers to work as performers, teachers, choreographers and arts/entertainment managers, and the Dance Science degree provides a unique opportunity to prepare for entrance in Physical Therapy graduate programs.

- High School GPA of 3.5 or higher
- Test scores showing College Algebra readiness or completion of College Algebra
- ACT Math Score of 19 or higher
- SAT Math Section Score of 510 or higher
- ALEKS Placement Assessment of College Algebra
- Unlike other dance degrees, students enter the Dance Science track as freshmen
Designed essentially as a pre-physical therapy degree, Dance Science combines OCU’s renowned dance training with the science prerequisites needed to pursue a career in physical therapy. Students who meet specific academic and program criteria will also have an optional direct-admission pathway into OCU’s physical therapy program.
