MASTER OF ARTS IN ARTS ADMINISTRATION

One consistent element in the arts is that all organizations -- from those involved with theater to music to dance to the visual arts and more -- require sound leadership. Oklahoma City University's Master of Arts in Arts Administration degree is designed to equip future leaders looking to ascend within arts-, culture- and humanities-focused organizations.

This 36-credit-hour degree is offered in an asynchronous online format, meaning you can study and learn at your own pace within each course module. The degree can be completed in either one or two years, depending on your specific needs.

Courses are led by seasoned faculty who bring their real-world experience to the classroom. Students can expect to study topics like leadership, strategic planning, advocacy, grant writing and more, all tailored to the future arts administrator.

Classes are offered in 8-week blocks, allowing students to complete as many as four per semester but never juggling more than two classes at any given time. This makes it possible to complete all 12 courses (36 credit hours) in as little as one academic year (fall, spring and summer).
