KRAMER SCHOOL OF NURSING:
Providing Gateways into Nursing and Pathways to Professional Advancement

The need for excellent nurses has never been greater. To address this demand, KSN accepts all qualified, eligible applicants, limiting enrollment only in the doctoral programs. No separate nursing school application. No waiting lists. Have a nursing major right from the beginning.

Graduates can choose many career paths: patient care in hospitals or longterm care, community health, owners of their own businesses, school nursing, flight nursing, ER/trauma, occupational health, military nursing, nurse practitioners, nurse anesthetists, administration, nursing education, research, and more!

    What our students say...

"I chose the Kramer School of Nursing because I want to graduate from nursing school knowing that I received a first class education." —Kathryn Poet, Traditional BSN Alumna ('09)

"My wife and I moved to Oklahoma three years ago from the Texas Panhandle where I was manager of a beef cattle feedlot operation. Although I enjoyed my job with the feed yard, I began to entertain the idea of a career change. The desire to work in an environment that directly involves helping people led to my decision to pursue a career in nursing. My goal is to practice my profession in rural Oklahoma." —Eric Cochran, Bachelor's-to-BSN alumnus ('08)

"I was thrilled to learn that OCU’s Kramer School of Nursing has a program that offers a bachelor’s degree in nursing to students who have a previous bachelor’s degree in other fields. The move to Oklahoma has been hectic, but it has been well worth it." —Leigh Anne Downing, Bachelor's-to-BSN alumna ('07)

"I love every minute of being at OCU’s Kramer School of Nursing. I came to OCU for a visit and knew I had to be a student here. I love being able to actually talk with and get to know my professors. The professors are wonderful in helping me work to achieve my goals." —Sarah Gilbertson, Traditional BSN alumna ('08)

"After graduation the BSN nurses of OCU have high respect from the health care community. A degree from OCU carries with it great prestige." —Elizabeth Fawcett-Brown, Traditional BSN alumna ('07)

"Because of Kramer School of Nursing’s sterling reputation and the commitment and support of the professors, I know that I will receive a quality nursing education." —Thu Fenno, Bachelor's-to-BSN alumna ('08)

"I would like to continue my education at OCU...I hope to return to Kramer to receive my Masters in Nursing." —Kara Witzel, Traditional BSN student
