Berta Manevich is a multi-hyphenate artist, specializing in acting, directing and writing, contributing to numerous on screen and stage roles in the American Pacific Northwest, Los Angeles and London. She holds a BA in Theatre and Russian Studies from Central Washington University and is on her way to earning a dual MFA/MA in Screen Acting through Oklahoma City University in partnership with Goldsmiths University of London. Berta believes that art mirrors life and life inspires our art; it connects us and gives us the freedom to feel. Through the power of on screen storytelling, Berta aims to tell grounded narratives which allow us to reflect on our own lives and gain a deeper understanding of the people around us. Coming from a Jewish-Russian heritage and an advocate for body-diversity on screen, Berta knows the significance of seeing accurate representation on the big screen, and aims to shatter archaic stereotypes one role at a time. In her spare time, Berta loves to travel, read books, dance and play badminton.
