  • Our First-Year Experience program program fosters important connections with students, faculty, and staff.
  • With more than 90 student organizations, OCU has something for everyone.
  • OCU's Greek community is an important and dynamic part of the university experience. The four fraternities (Kappa Sigma, Lamda Chi Alpha, Alpha Phi Alpha) and five sororities (Alpha Chi Omega, Alpha Phi, Gamma Phi Beta, Alpha Kappa Alpha and Phi MU) at OCU represent 32% of the student population.

At OCU, we are a family and we take care of each other. Our campus community is tight-knit, accepting, and caring. We put our students in the position to succeed by making sure they have all of the resources they could need right at their fingertips.

  • OCU offers services to students to promote healthy lifestyles, these resources include: the Campus Health Center, the Aduddell Fitness Center and Freede Wellness Center, intramural sports and recreation, and four to five free counseling sessions per semester from University Counseling.
  • The OCU Police Department is devoted to providing our campus community with emergency and non-emergency services. OCU Police safety escorts are available 24 hours a day, year-round.
  • Good friends and good food are always on the menu at OCU Dining.
  • Campus Disability Services is dedicated to providing for the needs of enrolled students who have disabilities.
  • Our Learning Enhancement Center offers a variety of services at no cost to students. These services include one-on-one tutoring, guided revisions and critiquing for papers, and computer and internet access.
  • Multicultural organizations and activities celebrate diversity among OCU’s student population. Collaboration and inclusion are cultivated through supporting organizations that represent diverse students of ethnic and cultural groups. Student-led campus activities also educate their fellow students on important issues and perspectives about race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, religion, gender, national origin, disability, class, and age. OCU promotes understanding and appreciation of cultural diversity and fosters positive human relations for all students, faculty, and staff.
