School of Theatre

The School of Theatre prepares young artists for a sustainable professional life. Our programs are grounded in the philosophy of putting classroom theory into stage and screen practice to produce creative, culturally aware, and highly effective theatrical artists. We are devoted to crafting a student-centered environment that is collaborative, rigorous, and creative.  TheatreOCU, the production arm of the School, works to create a professional training program, where all aspects of play and on-camera production will mirror the actual practices of the professional world. We create an environment that encourages the synthesis of the professional craftsperson with the passionate artist.

We are working professionals teaching our students to be working professionals.
