Congratulations to the winning teams at the inaugural Meinders School of Business (MSB) at Oklahoma City University (OCU) Supply Chain Management (SCM) Challenge held last Friday, Oct. 2nd. Teams from across the metro competed in a fast-paced, real-world simulation where you’ll learn what it takes to keep products moving, customers satisfied and businesses running efficiently.
Real-world competition, fast-paced decision making and serious prizes:
First Place: $2,000 Mustang Team 2
Second Place: $1,000 Mustang Team 1
Third Place: $500 MetroTech Team 5
Special thanks to our guest speaker, Gary Mawby, Vice President of Supply Chain for The Bama Companies. Mawby spoke to our students about how SCM works, gave real world examples and explained the various career paths available in SCM. The Bama Companies sponsor the SCM program here at the Meinders School of Business, including programing, special events and scholarships.

This competition was built around an interactive SCM simulation game where student teams competed in real time, making decisions on sourcing, production, inventory and distribution. As market conditions shift and challenges arise, team had to adapt quickly to outperform the competition.
