Music Admissions

Steps to Apply

Step 1 - Apply to OCU

Submit the Oklahoma City University undergraduate, transfer, or graduate application prior to auditioning. Apply for admission to OCU on the admissions website using the online application or the Common App. Submit the FAFSA as early as possible. More information about the FAFSA and financial aid can be found here or by calling 405-208-5211.

Step 2 - Submit the audition form

All applicants to the Wanda L. Bass School of Music must submit an audition form on Acceptd to schedule their audition date for admission and talent award consideration.

Instrumentalists, can't make these dates? We still want to hear you!
To request an alternate on-campus audition date, select "alternate date in-person" as your audition date preference in the Acceptd application.

Step 3 - Audition

Visit the Auditions page for more information about the current audition requirements, repertoire, processes, and special programming opportunities on select audition dates.

Note: Students auditioning for Undergraduate Music Theater, Vocal Performance, Music Theater/Vocal Performance double major, and Bachelor of Arts in Music with vocal concentration degrees must submit a prescreen audition via Acceptd before being invited to campus for a call-back audition.
