Music Admission Steps


Step 1: Apply to OCU

We are excited you are interested in becoming a musical Star.  Follow the steps below to make sure we have all of your information and that you are scheduled for an audition.

Step 2: Audition

An audition is required for admission to all the Bachelor of Music and Master of Music degrees in the School of Music. An audition is required for scholarship consideration no matter the major. 


Step 3: Receive Scholarship Letter via OCU email

You will receive your audition results and talent scholarship offer via email. The timing of this communication varies with each program. Applicants are allowed to accept offers from multiple institutions while considering options, but we ask that you keep us informed throughout the process.

Step 4: Accept Your Offer and Arrange a Scholarship Signing Ceremony

There will be instructions in your offer letter on how to accept - you can email, text, call, etc.  Your OCU Admissions counselor will be your primary contact for ensuring you have completed all steps for committing to the university, securing additional academic scholarship awards, and other details.  We would also love to schedule a scholarship signing if you are interested.  We can send someone to you, or you can set it up yourself and we'll send you some swag for the picture.  We want to celebrate that you are becoming a Star!
