Congratulations on being admitted to Oklahoma City University! Below are some of the next steps that can help you in the process.

Freshman (I haven't taken any college credits since graduating high school.)
Submit Your Enrollment Deposit
The Enrollment Commitment Deposit of $150 secures your place in the freshman class. This deposit is required to enroll in classes and attend STARS 101. The Enrollment Commitment Deposit is nonrefundable after May 1. To pay your Enrollment Commitment Deposit, please go to okcu.edu/paymentsite.
Register for a Virtual STARS 101
Stars 101 is going virtual! Attendance at one of our virtual Stars 101 events is strongly encouraged for incoming freshmen, and we will make sure you have opportunities to interact with us in many different ways from the safety and comfort of your home. This is your first step to a successful transition to university life - one of the most important and exciting transitions you will make in your lifetime!
New dates will be announced by February 15.

Apply for the Honors Program
Participate in a collaborative, cross-disciplinary, learning community! OCU Honors students take rigorous and engaging classes and receive special support to travel and study abroad, produce and present undergraduate research, and to compete for distinguished national and international scholarships and fellowships.
As an OCU Honors student you will also be regularly engaged in undergraduate research and have the opportunity to present your work at regional and national conferences.
Priority Deadline: March 1

Submit Final Documents
At the completion of your senior year, please have your school send us your final transcript, which includes your graduation date. To be considered official, your transcript must be sent directly from the school to our office. OCU accepts transcripts electronically. If your high school participates in a secure online service, ask them to send your transcript to us electronically.
If you have completed any college work (including AP, IB, and CLEP scores), please send the official transcript or scores to the university.
Transfer (I have taken college credits since graduating high school.)
Register for a Virtual STARS 301
Stars 301 is going virtual! Attendance at one of these virtual events is strongly advised for all incoming transfer students. At STARS 301 you will review your class enrollment with your academic adviser, meet with financial aid, attend virtual pre-orientation Q&A's, and more.

Submit Final Documents
If you any of your coursework was in progress when you were admitted, please have updated official transcripts sent with those grades and/or degrees posted. To be considered official, your transcript must be sent directly from the school to our office either electronically through a secure service or via mail.
Note on Stars Week for Transfer Students
Stars Week is a week-long celebration to introduce new fall term students to the OCU experience. Transfer students are strongly encouraged to attend the academic orientations and any other sessions they feel would be helpful to them, but are not required to participate in any of the week's events.

Login to BlueLink and your Student Email Account
BlueLink is your online information link to the university. This area gives you important information about your OCU student email account, enrollment, financial aid, announcements, and more. Additionally, important information and notices will be sent to your OCU student email account. Visit bluelink.okcu.edu regularly to ensure you do not miss any important information or deadlines. You can also find more information on how to access and manage your student email at email.okcu.edu.

Please contact the Campus Technology Help desk at (405) 208-5555. *The first time you log in to BlueLink, please set up your security profile by clicking on “My Questions and Answers Profile.” If you have previously logged into BlueLink or your student email, but can't remember your password, you can reset your password at password.okcu.edu with either your username or Banner ID (B#).
Submit the FAFSA
Visit fafsa.ed.gov to complete the FAFSA online. The FAFSA is available October 1 and priority consideration for financial assistance is given to students who submit the FAFSA by March 1. OCU’s FAFSA school code is 003166.
If Student Financial Services needs any additional paperwork, you will learn what is needed by logging into BlueLink.
Beginning in late January, Financial Aid packages are mailed to students who have completed all of their financial aid paperwork. The Financial Aid package details merit-based, need-based aid, and federal aid. State aid is included as an estimate until funds are received by the state.
Apply for University Housing
Students who are under 21 years of age are required to live on campus. Exceptions are made for those students who choose to live at home.
You can apply for housing online at okcu.edu/campus/residencelife. You will use your BlueLink user ID and password to log into the housing application. Along with the housing application and questionnaire, there is a non-refundable $250 housing fee. You are encouraged to apply early.
Send Immunization Records
The Student Health Center requires an Immunization Record on file before August 1.
You can bring your immunization record with you to Stars 101/301 or mail to:

Please be sure to include your name, Student ID number, and date of birth on the records.

Stars Week
Stars Week is a week-long celebration to introduce new students entering in the fall term to the OCU experience. All new undergraduate students participate in both mandatory and optional events that will create connections to the campus community in and out of the classroom. Stars Week is also full of opportunities to get acquainted with campus life and people who will help you make the successful transition to college life. Parents and families are also welcomed to OCU during the first two days of Stars Week.
