The Oklahoma City University Saxophone Day is an annual event open to saxophonists of all backgrounds and skill levels, age 11+. Hosted at OCU’s Wanda L. Bass School of Music, this exciting event features guest artist masterclasses, workshops, a guest artist recital, exhibitors, vendors, and a large saxophone choir. Each year, a world-class saxophonist is featured as a special guest artist.
This year’s featured artist is: Prof. Carrie Koffman!

Our event will take place on Saturday Oct. 11, 2025 at OCU’s Wanda L. Bass Music Center.
8:30 a.m.: Check-in & warm-up
9 a.m.: Saxophone Choir rehearsal
10:30 a.m.: Carrie Koffman guest recital
11:30 a.m.: Lunch on own & free time to visit exhibitors
1 p.m.: Carrie Koffman special workshop
2 p.m.: Carrie Koffman masterclass (performance slots available via application!)
4 p.m.: Full Saxophone Choir rehearsal & group photo
5 p.m.: Saxophone Choir Final Concert
